Frequently Asked Questions 1. My credit card was declined, but i know it's working fine. 2. After installing, I entered my email/password and it would not activate. 3. My credit card was declined, but i know it's working fine. Try re-typing your credit card number without spaces or dashes in between, and re-submit. 2. After installing, I entered my email/password and it would not activate. Email and Passwords are case sensitive. Be sure to enter this information exactly as you did when you purchased the product. In some cases customers have accidentally mistyped their email address; if the product is returning a message of invalid activation and login, please email us directly so we can check your account and confirm your information is correct. 3. After activating, it did not download all the files required. After the program has downloaded and finished installing, the settings and activation program will launch first. After successful activation, the program will then connect to our servers and download all the files needed for the screensavers you purchased. During this process it is important to allow MyMonitorPets program to access the internet if your security software prompts you. Not allowing the program to access the internet will result in a failed product. You will know if the program is downloading the files it requires when you see a screen showing you its progress including a green bar showing how many bytes have been recieved. If this process is not seen or is hanging for a long period of time, one or more of your programs are blocking this action. If in doubt, disable all your security programs until MyMonitorPets has successfully retrieved its files, then reactivate your security programs afterwards. 4. I'm at work and it's not installing. Most work environments have a secure network that prevent you from doing things such as program installs and anonymous file retrievals from the internet. If the program is not installing properly, not activating, and/or not downloading, you may need to consult your IT Manager to grant you permissions to do so. Our applicaiton is not harmfull or malicious in any way, however, the process by which it downloads files from our server could viewed as a potential risk on a secure server. 5. The settings program doesn't show any installed screensavers. After the application downloads its necessary files, the next screen shows you the installed screensavers. You will see a picture of each pet that is installed on your computer. If you do not see your pets or some are missing, the application was unable to download the necessary files. Be sure to disable your security programs and run the settings and activation program again. 6. I went to preview my screensaver and i get a White Screen. If you are recieving a White Screen, this is a result of issues 3 and 4 above. If the settings program did not fully download all the files required, but was activated, then all you will see is a white screen. You may also see some error messages in a box on this screen. 7. My screensaver says Registry Failed. This error message means that it was unable to properly access your windows reigstry system; you may nee to run a repair program to fix your windows registry. Reinstall the application. 8. My Screensaver says Encryption Error. This message will appear if your screensaver is activated but cannot find or decrpyt the screeenaver files; this is a result of a failed download as mentioend above in 3, 4, and 6. You must re-run the activation program and download all necessary files.
